1 To apply for an Alliant Emergency Medical Loan, you must be an Alliant member in good standing*, an active Takeda Pharmaceuticals employee based in the United States (retirees are not eligible), and either a legal resident or a U.S. citizen.
This loan is based solely on financial need as a result of a medical emergency affecting you and/or an immediate family member related to you by blood or law. You can take out multiple emergency medical loans in a calendar year up to $3,500. If you cease to be employed by Takeda Pharmaceuticals (voluntarily or involuntarily) you must continue to pay the loan in full. Information regarding this loan will be shared with Takeda Pharmaceuticals on an ongoing basis. Failure to repay this loan in a timely manner will result in a negative report sent to a credit reporting agency. If your loan is delinquent for 90 days or more, it will be turned over to Takeda Pharmaceuticals for continued collection efforts. The minimum loan amount is $500. The maximum loan amount is $3,500 with a term of up to 12 months. The interest rate is zero percent.
*Good Standing - You may not be past due or delinquent on any Alliant loan(s) or have any share account(s) with a negative balance, charged off balance, repossession, foreclosure, or bankruptcy. You must also meet any other internal parameters defined by Alliant, which are subject to change at anytime without notice.
